Anne Miller:

"Genealogical Research on the Internet"

What is the best way to find what you are looking for on the internet? Internet research is much more than just the well-known sites such as Ancestry.com, Heritage Quest, and Rootsweb. This presentation demonstrates how to find many other web sites that contain genealogical information without having to write down or remember lots of URLs. This is particularly helpful in finding the new web sites as they come online. Many examples are included.

Anne was the speaker at the NSDCGS meeting in January, 2008 when her topic was Evaluating Genealogical Sources. The 90+ members and guests present at that meeting voted her among the best, both as a presenter and in subject presentation. Anne received her PhD from the University of Arizona, and is a licensed psychologist who began her genealogical research some twenty years ago. She volunteers at the Murrieta Family History Center and teaches classes in genealogy. She is a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and of national and local genealogy and historical societies.
