The Plumas County death records contain many errors, especially as
far as the places of birth of decedents. Proper state postal codes were not

means Alaska, but also was used erroneously for Arkansas; ‘MS’ usually
means Mississippi, but also was used erroneously for Missouri; etc. Only U.S.
