We envision the list as a way to communicate with members between newsletters, and as a place for members to keep in touch between meetings.

To subscribe to the list, all you need to do is send an email to CA-LONG-BEACH-QHGS-L-request@rootsweb.com. The body of the message should contain the word "subscribe" (without the quotes) and nothing else.

If you prefer to subscribe in digest mode, where all the messages for one day are sent in a single email, then address the email to CA-LONG-BEACH-QHGS-D-request@rootsweb.com instead.

If all goes well, you'll receive a message welcoming you to the list and containing further instructions on how to post, unsubscribe, etc.
