David Kehoe, Supervisor for District 1, has been a giant support to Charlene Peckinpaugh, on her project to save the Buckeye Pioneer Cemetery.

Charlene presentd a framed copy of a story of what she is getting done for this cemetery to David Kehoe.

Monument arrives and is being set on the monument patio at Buckeye Pioneer Cemetery.

Steve Cortopassi (in suit) is the man, from Redding Cemetery, who worked to help Charlene Peckinpaugh with her request for a monument to honor the people buried in the Buckeye Pioneer Cemetery and they even did the engraving and placing of the monument.

This is an $8000.00 monument.  Steve said that the Redding Cemetery wants to find a matching four foot bench with a back, engrave my name and the volunteers who helped make my dream come true, on it and place it on the patio across from the monument for people to rest, reflect or write info from the monument.

Lindy Peckinpaugh, husband to Charlene Peckinpaugh, stands near newly poured meandering walkway, Charlene also got donated to the Buckeye Pioneer Cemetery.

Bottom picture on the right, is the wheelchair ramp, and it goes up and meets the steps, that also leads from Irish Road and as you can see, the meandering walkway continues up and around to the back side of monument patio.

Meandering walkway joins monument patio.  Charlene and Lindy's home, sits right across the street.  Note Lindy standing in the shade of tree's....

Donated steps leading up to meandering walkway.  If you turn left at top of steps, you'd travel down the wheelchair ramp to Irish Road, and if you turn right, your on the meandering walkway heading up to monument patio.   Notice the dusty rose coloring.  They made it that way, to match the patio and monument, and to blend in with the area and not stick out like grey concrete.

In the first picture's of the wheelchair  ramp, steps and meandering walkway, they had a cement dust placed on it, and a week later return and washed it off and sealed it.  Now you can see the dusty rose color.  Muse Cement Contractor's donated the wheelchair ramp, steps and meandering walkway

Meandering walkway heading up to backside of the 8 X 8 Monument patio donated by Randy Stutesman......

Charlene Peckinpaugh stands on the meandering walkway as she works her way up to monument.

Meandering walkway meets backside of monument patio.

I'm now trying to get cyclone fencing donated to fence the entire 440 feet of the cemetery.

Only three of the original headstone's remain, after vandal's destroyed the cemetery over 40 years ago....
