The Byrns Hotel

Hotel Woodland, 426 Main Street, Woodland. According to David L. Wilkinson’s book Crafting a Valley Jewel on page 79, the hotel was organized in 1928 and designed by William Henry Weeks in the “...Spanish Colonial Revival style, sometimes referred to as the Churrigueresque style.” According to the National Register of Historic Places, the Hotel Woodland was added to the list in 1994 as Building #94001225. The period of significance for the hotel is listed as 1925-1949. (The following photographs were taken by Peggy B. Perazzo in 2005, used with permission.)
