Southland Park & the YMCA (Young Men’s Christian Association), located at 1300 College Street in Woodland. The land on which Southland Park is located today was once a relatively small, abandoned Jewish cemetery. You can use this link to learn more about the old Jewish cemetery. The plaque at the entrance of the YMCA reads:

“The site for this Yolo County Young Men’s Christian Association is a gift of the Jewish people of Sacramento and Yolo Counties as an act of inter-faith brotherhood.

“Dedicated October 2, 1960”
